By the time Batch 10 rolled around in spring of 1992, it was clear lip syncs were here to stay. This is also when the quality of 90s shows started to slightly rise. These shows weren’t as reliant on copy and paste routines as Batch 8 was. 14 out of the 22 tracks included character intros, with more than just the side stages this time! Every character gets a speaking role in this batch. The intros in this batch are also more skit-like, with the characters actually interacting rather than just introducing the song, such as in "Song of the South" where Beach Bear asks Mitzi if she’s ever had a sweet potato pie, and Mitzi says her grandma makes it. There are cute little interactions like that in quite a few shows, such as Beach Bear revealing he has a sister in "Papa Come Quick", or Fatz telling Mitzi to “do it just like Bonnie, baby” in "Something to Talk About". It is a possibility that certain shows were recalled as there is a lack of known footage and tapes including them. “Papa Come Quick” and “Cream” are some of these, as they include inappropriate lyrics parents wouldn’t be thrilled about. Cream has pretty obvious sexual connotations in the lyrics, and "Papa Come Quick" Goes as far to include swear words. Perhaps CEI was trying to cater to a more adult audience at the time. Batch 10 can be a little confusing. The main tracklist (listed above) is what can be seen on the outside of the box at CEI. However, there are some copies that include selections from Batch 11, as well as the Garth Brooks song “Shameless”.
